George “Monk” Foreman III is a multifaceted entrepreneur, accomplished boxing trainer, and scion of the iconic businessman and former two-time heavyweight champion, George Foreman Sr. With a stellar academic background from Pepperdine and Rice University, George’s journey transcends the boxing ring, encompassing diverse industries such as marketing, TV & movie production, personal care, nutraceuticals, fitness, and healthcare. A true serial entrepreneur George has raised over $20MM of start-up capital across 4 ventures including one publicly traded company.
From 2003-2010, George served as the business manager for his legendary father. George oversaw every facet of his father’s career, from interviews and endorsements to start-ups and investments in the consumer goods & media industry. In 2005, George launched George Foreman Enterprises, a publicly traded company managing the lion’s share of the George Foreman IP for consumer products. His foray into the entertainment industry includes appearing on the E! Network Reality show, executive producing “Family Foreman” for MTV Network’s TVLAND as well as the ABC prime-time show “American Inventor”.
During this time, George’s weight ballooned from 200-300 pounds, so George began boxing to lose weight at the age of 26. During this process, he discovered a passion for boxing and launched a professional boxing career, achieving an impeccable record of 16-0 (15 KO’s), showcasing his exceptional conditioning and dedication to the sport. During his boxing career, George dedicated served as a volunteer boxing coach at the George Foreman Youth & Community Center. This experience not only instilled in him the habit of philanthropy but also a profound appreciation for using boxing fitness as a platform for positive change.
In 2014, George embarked on a transformative journey as an entrepreneur, founding Everybodyfights boxing gyms in Boston. Under his leadership, the venture evolved into a luxury boutique fitness concept, generating over $40 million in cumulative revenue from classes, private training, and digital subscriptions. George’s entrepreneurial spirit also extends to literature, as he authored the book “The Fighting Spirit” in 2013, outlining his original 12 “Fight Laws of Life”. George’s latest venture, Craft Boxing, exemplifies his commitment to innovation in the fitness industry. Partnering with Canadian fitness industry heavyweight David Patchell-Evans, Craft Boxing is an experiential e-commerce platform delivering authentic boxing content and merchandise through a content subscription and licensing model. George, a board member of Horizons for Homeless Children, balances his professional endeavors with personal commitments to his wife Sarah and daughter Hannah George Foreman. Craft’s HQ in Calabasas, CA, serves as the hub for content production and an experiential haven where the public can partake in George’s renowned boxing training program in person. George’s next venture is focused on scaling emotional health support for the mainstream.
