Pablos Holman is a Futurist, Hacker and Inventor at the Intellectual Ventures Lab. He focuses on the world’s bigger problems, inventing things that enrich the human experience. He is currently working on a bunch of awesome projects – including a malaria-eradicating device that can shoot mosquitoes out of the sky with lasers. Cool, right?
How does one get inspired to create things like that? “I have always been looking at: how do I take computers and make them go places they haven’t been before, do things for people they haven’t done before? People here are developing practical things for the now, I am working on what we can do in 5 years, 10 years.”
